How Melcora Labs LLC collects, uses, retains, and protects information when you use Par for the Crew and related Melcora Labs support services.
Who We Are and Scope
Melcora Labs LLC operates Par for the Crew and the Melcora Labs website.
This Policy applies to Par for the Crew, supporting multiplayer and backend services, and information you voluntarily submit through Melcora Labs contact and support forms.
It does not control the privacy practices of third-party services operating under their own privacy policies.
Privacy at a Glance
- Saved golfers, round history, achievements, preferences, favorites, and cached course information are primarily stored on your device.
- Shared multiplayer uses cloud services so golfers can synchronize a round across devices.
- Multiplayer currently uses a Supabase-generated anonymous user identity rather than requiring an email address or password.
- The Melcora Labs website contact form collects only the information you choose to submit so we can review and respond to your request.
- Par for the Crew does not currently use advertising SDKs, targeted advertising, or cross-app tracking.
- The current App does not request precise location, camera/photos, microphone, contacts, or tracking authorization.
- Completed or canceled shared-round data is normally scheduled for automatic deletion after approximately 30 days.
Information We Collect and Process
A. Information stored primarily on your device
- Saved golfer information such as display name, handicap, team information, and whether a golfer is marked as “Me.”
- Round information including course, tee, scores, game format, teams, results, duration, and Ball Body Count.
- Achievements, prestige progress, statistics, favorites, recent courses, offline course data, themes, preferences, and other app settings.
- Local references needed to resume or reconnect to a round.
B. Multiplayer and cloud information
- shared-round identifiers and join codes;
- anonymous Supabase user identifiers;
- optional user-entered device labels;
- golfer names, handicaps, player claims, teams, and team names;
- course, tee, hole, game, and round configuration;
- scores, round progress, Ball Body Count, Wolf decisions, and related gameplay information; and
- timestamps and operational fields needed for synchronization and reconnect/resume.
C. Anonymous authentication
Multiplayer uses Supabase anonymous authentication. If no existing session is available, Supabase creates an anonymous user identity.
On native devices, the authentication session is stored locally so the same anonymous identity can be reused across app launches.
This anonymous identity is not itself a traditional account containing an email address, Apple ID, Google account, or password.
D. Course-data requests
When you search for or retrieve golf-course information, the App may send course-search terms or course requests to the service used to provide golf-course data.
That provider may also receive ordinary network information associated with the request, such as IP address, timestamps, and request metadata.
E. Purchases and subscriptions
If paid features are offered, Apple App Store or Google Play will process the purchase.
Melcora Labs may receive information such as product, entitlement, transaction, or renewal status needed to provide purchased features. We do not receive your full payment-card number from the app stores.
F. Technical and service information
Services used to operate Par for the Crew and the Melcora Labs website may process ordinary technical information such as IP address, request timestamps, app or browser information, server logs, and security-related data.
Par for the Crew does not currently include dedicated third-party advertising, attribution, analytics, or crash reporting SDKs.
G. Website contact and support form
If you submit a message through the Melcora Labs website, we collect the information you voluntarily provide through that form.
- your name;
- your email address;
- the contact topic you select;
- the Melcora Labs product you select;
- the message or support information you provide; and
- subsequent correspondence related to your request.
Contact-form messages are routed to the appropriate Melcora Labs inbox based on the topic selected, such as general contact, product support, or privacy assistance.
Please do not submit passwords, payment-card information, or other highly sensitive information through the contact form.
Information and Permissions We Do Not Currently Request
- precise GPS location;
- camera or photo-library access;
- microphone access;
- contacts or address-book access;
- advertising identifiers or app-tracking authorization; or
- push-notification tokens.
If future features change these practices, this Policy and applicable app-store disclosures will be updated as required.
How We Use Information
- provide scoring, statistics, achievements, course, theme, and round-history features;
- operate multiplayer and synchronize shared rounds;
- apply scoring rules, permissions, and host/player controls;
- retrieve golf-course and tee information;
- review and respond to contact, support, bug-report, beta-feedback, business, and privacy requests;
- operate, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the App and website;
- administer paid features if offered;
- comply with legal obligations; and
- prevent misuse, fraud, spam, and security incidents.
How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information.
Information may be disclosed to service providers when reasonably necessary to operate Par for the Crew, the Melcora Labs website, and related support systems.
- Supabase for multiplayer backend and anonymous authentication services;
- golf-course data providers for course and tee information;
- Expo and related application infrastructure used to build and distribute the App;
- Apple and Google for app distribution and purchases where applicable;
- Resend and related email infrastructure used to transmit website contact-form messages;
- Google Workspace and other email systems used by Melcora Labs to receive, store, and respond to correspondence;
- professional advisors such as legal, accounting, insurance, or technical service providers when appropriate;
- government authorities or other parties when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or security; and
- a successor or potential successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of business assets.
Information needed to participate in a shared round is also synchronized with the other golfers participating in that round.
Data Retention
- Local device data generally remains until you clear it, remove app storage, or uninstall the App.
- Completed or canceled shared multiplayer rounds are normally scheduled for backend deletion after approximately 30 days.
- Active shared rounds may remain available while needed for synchronization and reconnect/resume.
- An anonymous authentication identity may persist separately from an individual shared round until deleted through the applicable identity-deletion flow or otherwise removed.
- Website contact-form submissions and related correspondence may be retained in Melcora Labs email and support systems for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain business records, resolve disputes, protect against abuse, or meet legal obligations.
- Service providers may retain limited operational, security, legal, billing, or backup information according to their own requirements.
Your Privacy Choices and Deletion Options
Clear Local App Data
Par for the Crew includes a control designed to clear app data stored locally while preserving the existing anonymous multiplayer identity.
Delete Multiplayer Identity and Reset App
Par for the Crew also includes a deletion flow designed to delete the anonymous multiplayer identity and then clear local app data.
For safety, the flow is designed to block deletion while the user is hosting an unfinished shared round.
Website contact information
If you contact Melcora Labs through the website, you may contact us regarding that correspondence or request appropriate access, correction, or deletion where applicable.
Some information may need to be retained when required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or legitimate business recordkeeping purposes.

Melcora Labs does not currently sell personal information or use Par for the Crew or website contact-form information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information appropriate to the nature of the App, website, and related services.
No storage, transmission, or electronic communication method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Children’s Privacy
Par for the Crew is a general-audience golf application and is not directed to children under 13.
Melcora Labs does not knowingly seek direct personal information from children under 13 through the website contact form without appropriate authorization.
An adult may enter golfer information about another person, including a minor golfer, as part of a round. The adult should provide only information they are authorized to provide.
International Processing
Melcora Labs is based in the United States. Service providers used to operate the App, website, email, and support systems may process information in the United States and other countries.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Policy as the App, website, service providers, product features, or legal requirements change.
The Last Updated date above will be revised when this Policy is updated.
